Online Fundraising 101: Promotional Tips

It can be tricky to get the word of your cause out there on the internet and into the world, so we've come up with a few ways to get your page some exposure.

E-mail:
What's the easiest way to get in touch with everyone you know? E-mail the link to your fundraising page to your email contacts, urging them to do sign-ups and to shop online through the fundraising page.

Twitter:
Tweeting a link to your fundraiser page will allow you to share it with all of your friends instantly. Many of your friends may re-tweet your fundraiser, and they'll share it with their friends if you're lucky!

Facebook:
Facebook can get your fundraiser a lot of exposure. Create a group and post a link to your fundraising page, and possibly sharing instructions on how to use it.

For fundraising groups we have a few products that are bound to do well:
-Magazines.com is a partner of ours that has a fantastic selection of magazines. Groups and causes earn a hefty commission off selling cheap magazine subscriptions! You can pretty much find anything you like on here.

We've been making progress!

We have a new site in the works. That means updated tracking, a new layout, and so many features that improve the site, so many that I cannot list them all here. Alex and I are very excited about making this into a reality, especially since we've spent so many months building this from scratch. I am hoping to additionally triple the number of advertisers currently partnered with us.

Currently you can still sign up on the old site and even fundraise, but we strongly recommend waiting until our release date (which will be in early January, so it's right around the corner).
